Since the graduation from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak Technical University in 1980 he has been working in the Department of Geodesy and Cartography, in Units of Geodetic Control – from the Head of Surveying Group through Head of Departments of Level Control and Gravimetry to the function of the Head of Department. At task solving he asserts the application of new technologies right from the beginning including their implementation in technical regulations and in practise. He works in the Technical Committee 89 at the Slovak Institute of Technical Standardization. He is nominated to the function of the national delegate in the European Commission for Referential Terrestrial Frameworks (EUREF) which operates within the International Association of Geodesy (IAG). He is a Chairman of the Slovak Society of Geodesy and Cartography which is a part of Slovak Scientific-Technical Societies.
