Erik Minarovič
Erik Minarovič is a graduate of the University of Žilina, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with a focus on information and security systems.
After graduating from university, he worked in several public administration organizations, starting with the Office for Civil Service, the Center for Labor, Social Affairs and Family Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic. He worked as a project manager, implemented processes according to ITIL and PRINCE2 and held various professional, advisory and project positions. He has been working in IT management for the last 10 years.
He has experience from the point of view of strategic management of IT projects, IT architecture, business processes, application and infrastructure services, experience in the creation of strategies and policies for the field of information systems security and the introduction of the implementation of security policies, creation of methodologies, IT projects financed from EU sources.
Currently, he works as the general director of the information technology section of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, where he promotes steps to increase the efficiency of IS operation under the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic and cost optimization.
He is a member of the expert organization of the competence certification center for cyber security and a member of several supra-departmental working groups. He is married and has two children.
