Eva Kušíková
MUDr. Eva Kušíková (*1980). Graduate of the Bilingual English-Slovak Grammar School in Sučany and the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. For eight years, she worked as an anesthesiologist in Prague's Královské Vinohrady University Hospital, and during this period she also completed one-year research stay in Rouen, France. In 2014, she returned to her native Banská Bystrica, where she works at II. Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Medicine of FD Roosevelt University Hospital. She currently works as the Deputy Head of the department in charge of Transplant program and is also the head physician of the Central Surgical ICU. Since 2012, she has been cooperating with the international humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières - MSF). So far, she has completed five missions abroad (2x Afghanistan, Haiti and 2x Iraq) and was also part of the MSF mission in Slovakia during the Covid-19 pandemic. She regularly gives lectures at domestic and foreign professional medical events.
