Since 2018, František Babič has been working as an associate professor at the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Technical University in Košice. In research, he mainly deals with the processing and analysis of various types of data, in recent years especially in the domain of providing health care or supporting medical diagnostics. He is or was a member of the research team of several research projects from national or international grant schemes. He currently manages the APVV research team of the project Processing and analysis of ultrasonographic video recordings using artificial intelligence. At the same time, since 2019, he has been working at the TUKE Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics as the vice dean for development and external relations, who is mainly in charge of establishing and developing cooperation with practice. The result is, for example, invited lectures for male and female students, professional workshops, new or revitalized laboratories, joint research projects.
