Benefits of PaaS for OVM
PaaS (Platform as a Service) and platform services are a significant innovation! That is why the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic has taken up the challenge of implementing this cloud layer in the Government Cloud. PaaS allows public authorities to create and implement information systems in a completely different way and to work proactively with dozens of pre-packaged services in their IS, to use available SW and HW resources more efficiently, to support the acceleration of cloud-native application development using pre-packaged environments for development, testing, and operation, and to consume the included cloud services in a controlled manner. The new PaaS practices bring stability, cheaper, simpler, faster creation, and faster operation of applications deployed in the Government Cloud space to all OVMs. -
Paas (Platform as a service) for the Ministry of the Interior - its benefits for OVM and IS suppliers

As part of the delivered work, a native PaaS platform and platform services, Licensing PaaS automation and services, DevOps tools, Components, Backup services and pay per use Licenses were created for the purpose of verifying the functionality of the Licensing PaaS automation.
The result of the project is a significant contribution to the digitalization of Slovak e-government. -

The position of the community cloud in the state IT environment
Thanks to advances in virtualization technology, Cloud Computing has become an integral part not only of every industry, but also of state and local government. At Cloud Computing, we know four deployment models: public, private, hybrid, and Bare Metal Cloud. The concept of "Community Cloud" is new and falls somewhere between Public and Private Cloud. It is a hybrid form of private cloud. It is a platform for multiple tenants , which allows different organizations to work on a shared platform.
The aim of this post is to provide some answers to the questions: What is a community cloud? What are some examples of a community cloud and what are their use cases? What are the benefits of community clouds? What are the challenges for community clouds and What to consider before adopting the concept of Community Cloud.
