Gustáv Budinský
He heads the Digital Strategies Unit at the Digital Agenda Section of the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, where he is involved in human capital, especially with regard to digital skills, activities related to education and security in the online environment, as well as digital transformation of businesses and eGovernment. Already alongside his studies at secondary and university level, he has worked in the field of Public Relations, IT and later on publishing in the motoring media or preparing the Motoring show. He started to focus more intensively on digital skills during his work in the IT Association of Slovakia, where he has worked since 2006. He has been working at MIRRI since 2019.

„According to the EC, 80% of the EU population needs to have at least basic digital skills by the year 2030. Slovakia needs to reach this level as soon as possible and that’s why we’re preparing (in close cooperation with the most important stakeholders) the National strategy for digital skills together with other strategic documents.
