Hans Jörg Seeburger
Hans-Jörg Seeburger was 1965 born in Klagenfurt, Austria. After the study of onformatics at the Technical University of Vienna he designed solutions for general practitioners and laboratories. 1996 Seeburger changed to Siemens to design products and solutions in the financial sector. Then after 2 years of management consulting he switched back to the healthcare sector.
After the overall technical project management of the Austrian e-card project done by Siemens and the project management of the Austrian Drug Approval System he is now technical responsible for e-Health and Healthcare telematics within Siemens IT Solutions and Services.
At the moment he is working on the technical architecture for the Austrian EHR.
Seeburger represents Siemens in many e-Health boards and institutions, amongst others he leads the working group of the Austrian e-Health-Initiative founded by the Austrian Ministry for Health and is an active member of the Austrian Standards Institution and the Austrian association of the ICT industry.
Hans-Jörg Seeburger is a speaker on international congresses, teaches e-Health at the Danube University Krems and at the University of Bilbao.
