Ildikó Polačeková
Ildikó Polačeková has been professionally involved for over 30 years in the development of state policies, concepts, and long-term programs in the areas of state social support, social assistance, professional training, and the drafting of laws related to state social support, minimum living standards, assistance in material need, alimony, and currently also in the area of compensation for severe disabilities, social services, and child welfare protection and social guardianship. She has contributed to various changes and reforms in addressing poverty and the successful implementation of various projects, such as the Operational Program for Food and Basic Material Assistance to the Most Disadvantaged Individuals. From 2003 to 2006, as Deputy Director for Social Affairs at the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs, and Family, she was responsible for the management, methodological guidance, coordination, and control of the implementation of state administration by the labor offices in the social field. She worked for more than 15 years as the director of the Social Assistance and Social Policy Strategy Department at the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, and Family of the Slovak Republic, and currently serves as the General Director of the Department of Social and Family Policy at the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, and Family of the Slovak Republic.
