Ivan Kotuliak
Ivan Kotuliak is the dean of FIIT STU and at the same time acts as the expert representative of the Slovak Republic for the European Blockchain Partnership at the EC, as well as the Slovak representative of the Information for All program of the Slovak Commission of UNESCO. He previously received a PhD from the University of Versailles in Informatics, as well as from FEI STU in Telecommunications.
Since 2002, he has been working as a researcher, later as an assistant professor, and since 2019 as a faculty professor. His research orientation includes communication network performance, NGN network architectures, mobile and wireless networks. His recent focus is on Blockchain and Content Delivery Networks (CDN), where he co-authored the ETSI standard, as well as Software Defined Networks (SDN). He is a co-author of more than 50 scientific publications, participated as a principal researcher and researcher in more than 20 international and national research projects.
