He has graduated from the Ohio State University in Columbus, USA, and got M.A. degree in hardware engineering field in 2003. So far has been IT Manager of the Plaskolite Company, one of the biggest private Plexiglas producers in the world. He started his career in 1997 as a technical specialist in computer equipment maintenance. Later, he was promoted to IT Manager position in the Sector for development and maintenance of computer technology, being in charge of budget creating, IT architecture, staff training and development, implementation of new hardware and software systems, maintenance of WPN infrastructure of four Plaskolite factories in the USA .

Over the eleven-year stay in the USA, Ivo Ivanovski has been an active member of the Macedonian-American Friendship Association and a member of the Steering Committee of the Macedonian church Mother of God's Falling Asleep in Columbus.
Also, he is an advisor to the VMRO-DPMNE President on matters related to information technology and economy.

Speaks fluent English, Serbian and Croat and understands Spanish.
He was elected Minister in the Government on December 21 st, 2006.
