Ján Kelča studied biomedical engineering and bioinformatics at the Brno University of Technology. He went on to study MBA in Healthcare Management at the Jagiellonian University in Toruń. He has more than 10 years of experience in biomedical engineering. He started working at OR-CZ in 2013 as a product manager and later as a head of product management in the medical solutions division. Since April 2018, he has been the Technical Director. In the company, he is responsible for the research and development of new technological products and solutions and their subsequent implementation by customers for the medical sector, taking into account relevant legislative requirements and healthcare standards. Outside of his main job, he supports many technology start-ups and in March 2023 he became an external advisor to CzechInvest for healthcare technology.

OR-CZ is a traditional Czech IT company that has become a leader in supplying technology to the healthcare sector.  The company has been on the market for over 30 years and currently has more than 120 customers in the healthcare sector, such as the University Hospital in Motol, University Hospital Brno, and University Hospital Ostrava.
