Ján Mihálik
Ján Mihálik completed his studies in 1993 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of STU in Bratislava. After 10 years of working at IBM Slovakia, he founded his own company DCpro s. in 2008. r. o., which is exclusively dedicated to consulting, design and engineering services for building data centers (DC) and their supporting non-IT infrastructure. He is currently involved in the preparation of investment plans and project documentation for data centers with a focus on high efficiency of electricity consumption and minimization of negative impacts on the environment. He holds certificates from the international organizations The Uptime Institute and TIA942. Another area of his activity is project management of physical relocations or data migrations of IT infrastructure between different DC locations. He participated in most projects in the given area in the Slovak Republic and currently provides his services in the Czech Republic as well. In addition to the above activities, he is an authorized trainer for the design and operation of DC non-IT infrastructure.
