Ján Ridzoň
Ján Ridzoň is the general director of the Program Slovakia 2021 – 2027 section at the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic. During his tenure in this position, the Slovakia 2021-2027 Program was approved, which represents an important investment tool of the EU and Slovakia with a total allocation of funds in the amount of EUR 15.5 billion.
Before that, he worked for almost six years at the Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republic to the EU in Brussels, where he primarily dealt with EU budget matters, negotiating the multi-year EU financial framework for the years 2021-2027 and the crisis budget of the NextGenerationEU recovery plan. Before that, he worked for 10 years at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic, where he held the position of director of the European affairs department. He studied economic policy at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Bratislava and political science at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Matej Bel University.
