Citizen's Portal is the main portal for electronic communication of citizens with the public administration of the Czech Republic. It is similar to www.slovensko.sk. The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic launched this portal in July 2018. Thanks to the technologies and architecture used, the development and implementation time has been significantly shortened, and the use of cloud technologies has significantly saved investment and operating costs. The architecture of the portal is built on microservices and containers. The portal is also a breakthrough in its operation, development and testing being fully realized in Microsoft Azure, a commercial cloud. Of course, all legislative and security requirements are fulfilled.
