MUDr. Jana Bendová, PhD, MPH, MBA is a general practitioner with a particular interest in prevention, screenings as well as prevention of overdiagnosis and treatment. She graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava, worked at the pulmonary department in Nitra and Bratislava, later in the field of clinical drug testing and drug safety. Since 2006, she has been working in an outpatient clinic, she is a trainer of medical students and residents in the field of general medicine for the Slovak Medical University and the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava. In the years 2018 - 2019, she held the position of chief expert of the Ministry of Health for general medicine. He participates in the organization of professional events at the national and international level, since 2023 he has been the scientific secretary of the Slovak Society of General Practitioners. He represents Slovak doctors in the international organizations WONCA and EUROPREV. She is an enthusiastic popularizer of electronic healthcare, healthy lifestyle and prevention.
