Jana Pifflová Španková
She is a co-founder and president of the patient alliance NIE RAKOVINE a o.z. Europacolon Slovakia, leader of patient advocacy, author and moderator of medical television formats and events. She worked as a television announcer and spokesperson for the first ombudsman, and is currently the author of nationwide international communication education and advocacy projects, as well as television projects Medicine, Ambulance, My Diagnosis in RTVS (Radio &Television Slovakia) . Her biggest challenge is to erase the differences and discrimination of Slovak cancer patients in access to healthcare, innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer within the European region. She is currently involved in a change in legislation that has caused one of the worst availability of innovative healthcare for cancer patients in Slovakia compared to other EU countries.
