Robotic assisted surgery via da Vinci systém
The appearance of robotic systems in surgical fields became the revolution of surgical techniques. To be done, this type of surgery utilizes a laparoscopic mini-invasive approach. Da Vinci robotic system is used for controlling each one of the surgical instruments we use during surgery. To compare with the classic laparoscopic approach, the da Vinci system enhances the amplitude of movements of surgical instruments, it makes the surgery safer by increasing the level of preciseness. There is a great number of advantages of robotic-assisted surgery, here are some of them: patient spends less time in hospital and the period of healing is shorter and less painful for the patient, which is the result of progress in modern medicine.
