Jozef Šuvada
Professor Jozef Šuvada represents Slovakia in the Governing Council of the World Health Organization (WHO). He is an honorary ambassador of Slovakia for global health. In addition to international academic, scientific, research and humanitarian organizations, he is also active in the International Society of Pediatric Oncology, EMDRIA, TIRA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or at Doctors Without Borders. He is also a research faculty member for Evidence, Impact and Research at McMaster University in Canada. At the same time, he participates in humanitarian projects in South Sudan, Uganda and the Middle East. He is a physician, social and humanitarian worker, expert in public health (Basel), crisis management (ICL) and trauma management (Stanford).
