The Railway Company Slovakia, a.s.also deals in with the topic Big Data.The proper  functioning and operation of information systems generate huge amounts of data. Their evaluation, required for strategic decisions, in traditional way, without specific solutions,  was managed only with difficulties. We have therefore decided to accomplish market research and compare available analytical platforms  in order to select the most appropriate solution. The decisive criteria for us were: the readiness of the proposed solution into operation, how is it user friendly, open, its flexibility with immediate impact on business and also the possibility of its further enlargement.
