He is a graduate of the Department of Design and Machine Parts of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the University of Žilina in Žilina. Since 2012, it has been engaged in the research and production of large-scale sapphire and yttrite-aluminum garnet (YAG) single crystals for industrial, space and laser system applications.
He acted as the leader of an international team that developed the technology for the production of large-scale single crystals of sapphire and YAG. He currently works as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AT Crystals, p. r. o., and also as director of the Monokrystal cluster. He works in a group that developed the concept of a joint research facility of the University of Žilina in Žilina and AT Crystals, p. r. o., for the field of laser and optical materials. Cooperates in building the European Center for Laser and Optical Materials (OPTICMAT), which is created by a joint consortium of several organizations in the field of R & D and production of optical materials.
In his scientific research activity, he is devoted to the research of YAG crystals doped with rare earths for special applications in the field of scintillators and laser devices. He is working on the development of a high-performance laser system for industrial applications.
