Kamil Fako currently holds the position of Director of the Applications Department. He has been working in the Ministry of the Interior since 2010 and during his assignment he held various positions in the field of implementation and operation of information systems projects, both at the national and international level. He has experience in leading project teams but also with positions in project steering committees. He participates, as a member of the steering committee of international projects managed by the European Commission through the EULISA agency, in managing the implementation of these projects in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. He has experience with police systems, border protection systems or operational management of units, as well as with public administration systems.  He participates in the creation and professional commenting of eGovernment legislation and internal legislation.
