Ľudmila Majláthová
Ľudmila Majláthová has been working for the European Commission since 2007. She currently works as a consultant at the Representation of the European Commission in Slovakia and is part of the team working at the EU Renewal Fund. During her time in Brussels, she worked for several Directorates-General (DG ENV, DG CLIMA and DG REGIO) in the areas of low-carbon technologies, energy efficiency and climate protection policies, and regional policy. It coordinated the implementation of Eurofunds for Slovakia and at the same time negotiated the setting of investment priorities in the areas of support for "research and innovation" and "transition to low-carbon energy" for the 2014-2020 programming period. She studied natural sciences, chemistry and continued her studies abroad with a postgraduate program in "environmental management" at the University of Amsterdam. She has experience working in the non-governmental or business sector. For several years she also worked as an energy consultant for the association representing the electricity industry EURELECTRIC based in Brussels.
