Speech
Technological advances have brought tremendous gains in terms of productivity and quality of life, but they also have potential security implications. How do we mitigate the risks and possible negative side effects of technology, while preserving its benefits and enabling further innovation? And how can we foster a more effective, multilateral response to these emerging opportunities and challenges? Slovakia, in its role as Chairmanship of the OSCE this year, is encouraging discussion and cooperation on these issues, with a view to ensuring a safer future for all our people.
