Lukáš Šoltés

Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Vice-dean and Vice-chairman of the Council of Universities of the Slovak Republic
He is a graduate of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, where he was awarded a PhD. Subsequently, he worked as an Experienced Researcher within the prestigious Marie Curie grant at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the University of Padua in Padua. In addition to working in the academic sphere, he worked in the armed security corps, where he held the position of head of the project preparation and project management section and deputy director of the public procurement and project management department. He holds several international certificates in the field of project management and people management.
Since 2019, he has been working as the vice-dean of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.

Currently, he is a member of the advisory committee of a member of the board of directors of the North Atlantic Accelerator for Defense Innovation DIANA and vice-chairman of the Council of Universities of the Slovak Republic.

His scientific research is focused on safety and autonomous transport. In 2023, he was awarded the rector's prize for extraordinary results in educational activities. He is the responsible researcher and co-researcher of several domestic and international projects, the originator of three utility models and several scientific publications and contributions presented at the domestic and international level.
