Malte manages EU digital policies for Amazon with a special focus on the regulation of AI. With over 12 years of experience in Brussels he has extensive knowledge of EU politics. Before joining Amazon in 2021, he held various positions at the Deutsche Telekom’s public policy team in Germany and Brussels, mainly responsible for consumer protection and sustainability policies. Malte has a postgraduate degree in Political Science, Economics and Public Law and studied in Germany (Tübingen), France (IEP Aix-en-Provence) and South Africa (Stellenbosch).
