Marcel Brenner
Marcel Brenner is the head of the emergency department at the National Institute of Children's Diseases.
In the years 1992-1998, he studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava, department of general medicine. Subsequently, he obtained certification in anesthesiology and resuscitation, SZU Bratislava, 2001, in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, SZU Bratislava, 2006, in emergency medicine and disaster medicine, IPVZ Prague, 2009, in pediatric emergency medicine, SZU Bratislava, 2009.
He is a member of professional societies and state organizations such as Slovak Forensic Society, Slovak Pediatric Society, Slovak Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Medicine, Slovak Medical Chamber. He also has membership in professional authorities and advisory bodies: vice-chairman of the Slovak Resuscitation Council, working group for emergency medicine and pre-hospital care at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, 2005-2008, temporary working group for accreditation - National First Aid Education Program, 2006-2009, vice-chairman of the cataloging commission for emergency medicine, 2008 only.
He was part of the project of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic Urgent incomes - project manager - year 2016. He is the main expert of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for emergency medicine - from 1 February 2019.
He is a member of the committee for urgent health care at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic.
