Dr Marcela Trnková qualified from Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, Slovakia in 2009. After university she worked as a junior doctor in Malacky hospital, Slovakia. In 2013 she relocated to United Kingdom and worked as a clinical fellow in a busy Accident and Emergency department at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital, gaining a valuable insight into the workings of the NHS. She enrolled into a GP training program in the West Midlands in 2015 and successfully completed a series of rotations in Old Age Psychiatry, Elderly care, Paediatrics and General Practice. Dr Uhliarova qualified as a GP in 2018 and has since worked in Kenilworth as a salaried GP. Dr Uhliarova and her husband Marek Trnka have also opened a clinic in Balsall Common offering private GP services and a Longevity clinic aimed at disease prevention.
