Assoc. Prof. Marek Debnár, PhD., graduated in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts at Comenius University in Bratislava, where he also earned his doctorate. He currently works as an associate professor at the Department of Journalism and New Media at the Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. He has participated in several international exchanges and internships (Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, etc.). His research focuses on literary theory, particularly the relationship between the subject and the author, the theory of minority genres, and digital humanities approaches to philosophy, semiotics, and literature. In recent years, his primary focus has been on digital research in literature.
