Mária Turisová is the director and coordinator of the Integrated Care Agency near Slana. After finishing her studies, she joined the private sector in the field of spas, where she worked for 16 years in a leading position in the field of trade and services. In 2019, she joined the office of the Banská Bystrica region as a project manager within the Catching-Up Regions initiative, where in cooperation with experts from the World Bank, European Commission, BBSK and local mayors, they prepared the concept of the Integrated Care Agency project. At the same time, she participated in the creation of the Day Care Center, Facilities for Seniors and Integrated Care Center projects in the South Gemer region. In 2022, she joined the Integrated Care Agency as a project manager and director, within which the availability of social services and social security in the southern Gemer region was significantly improved. After the end of the project implementation, the Agency's activities continue under its leadership.
