In 1996 he completed his studies at the Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava, in 2011 he completed his master's studies at the Faculty of Law of the Pan-European University of Law in Bratislava. He has a certificate in general surgery and traumatology. From 1996 to 2010 he worked as a doctor in a hospital, later he worked at the Regional Office of Public Health in Čadca. From 2005 to 2007 he held the position of the director of the regional branch of General Health Insurance Company (VšZP) and in 2007 he became the director of the regional branch of the company DÔVERA health insurance. In the period from September 2010 to April 2012, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of VšZP. Since July 2012, he has been working at DÔVERA, first as a consultant for relations with health care providers, later as the director of the department with relations with health care providers. Since 1 January 2017, he has been a member of the DÔVERA Board of Directors.
