Martin Kavka
Martin joined KPMG in 2008 as Senior Consultant after his extended experience in public sector. He is particularly focused on consulting projects for government authorities in the areas of feasibility studies of investment projects, regional development strategies, project and process optimization and control of the projects supported by public funds (national projects, projects co-financed by EU Funds). In a previous job he worked at the Ministry of Industry and Trade in various positions, last as the director of Business support department. He was responsible for the administration of investment incentives system in the Czech Republic, grants from the EU structural funds and community programs. Martin has experience in the field of management in public administration, legislation and financial management in public sector.

Smart test zone for autonomous cars in Ústí nad Labem
Within the project “U Smart zone - zone for testing autonomous mobility in Ústí nad Labem”, a unique study of the possibility of creating a zone for testing autonomous mobility was developed in cooperation of KPMG, ČVUT and Ústí nad Labem. The team worked together on a methodology for selecting real communications, areas and essential technologies that reflect the experiences and needs of autonomous vehicle manufacturers. Following the selection of the zone, a feasibility study was prepared, including the conditions for the necessary service, maintenance and testing in the public space.
