Martin Takáč is an associate professor at the Department of Applied Informatics of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University Bratislava, where he teaches within an international master program in cognitive science. He is a co-creator of an AI virtual baby BabyX. He is a member of the Standing Committee on Ethics and Regulation of Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic, member of the Ethics committee for research involving human subjects at FMFI UK, member of the Ethics Board of Comenius University Bratislava and member of the scientific board of AIslovakIA - National platform for the AI development in Slovakia. He is a founding member of Slovak Cognitive Science Society.
