PharmDr. Martina Hromádková is the director of the Department of Pharmacy at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. After completing her studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UK, she worked in various positions in a pharmaceutical company. She has been working at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic for 10 years, where in 2014 she took up the position of officer for conceptual activities in the field of narcotic and psychotropic substances. Since 2018, she has held the position of director of the Department of Pharmacy of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, where the main content of her work is the preparation of the strategy and creation of the state drug policy at the national level, ensuring professional, conceptual and methodological activities in the field of pharmacy. An important part is the preparation of legal regulations in the field of human pharmacy and narcotic and psychotropic substances. At the same time, she is a member of the Council of Europe committee for medicines and pharmaceutical care.
