Martina Nagyová
Since 2013, she has been working at the National Centre for Health Information as the Director of the Health Data Management Section. In her position, she is responsible for health statistics, operation of the National Health Registers, National Health Administrative Registers, data analysis, reporting and visualization of processed statistical outputs for the general professional and lay public and for the operation of the Slovak Medical Library. Within the scope of its work it cooperates with representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, professional societies, main experts of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, health care workers, health care providers, cooperates with international organizations, ministries as well as other institutions in the Slovak Republic. She also holds the position of Chief Statistician for the Ministry of Health, is a member of the Coordination Council of the Slovak Statistical Office, the Council of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Family and Demographic Development, the Council of the Slovak Arthroplasty Register and is a member of several expert working groups within the Ministry of Health. She studied at the Faculty of Management and Informatics, in Cybernetics, at the University of Transport and Communications in Žilina. During her career to date, she has gained extensive work experience in the private sector as well as in the state administration in the field of people management, streamlining and improving processes and company operations.
