Matt Prime trained as a doctor at University College London. He spent 12 years working as a doctor in the NHS. He completed a PhD at Imperial College London focussed on healthcare innovation policy. In 2013 he co-founded a digital health company to digitize care coordination for patients with traumatic injuries. 

Matt joined Roche in 2018 and today he is the Head of Evidence Generation for Roche Information Solutions. He has published extensively on digital health in the academic literature and is a member of the EU task force on the harmonization of the evaluation of digital medicine.
