Miloš Jeseňák
He completed his studies in general medicine in 2004 at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University in Martin. After finishing school, he joined the Children's and Adolescent Clinic of the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine of the Comenius University and University Hospital in Martin as a secondary doctor, where he still works today (including as a professor of pediatrics). Since 2005, he worked as an intern and aspirant at La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, where he defended his doctorate in pediatric sciences in 2010. In 2007, he defended his doctorate in pediatrics at the Comenius University in Bratislava. In 2009, he certified in the field of pediatrics in Bratislava and successfully completed his studies in the field of Master of Business Administration in Prague and in 2015, Master of Health Administration (Bratislava, Scranton). Subsequently, he tested in the field of clinical immunology and allergology in Prague. In 2011, he completed the habilitation procedure in the field of pediatrics. Subsequently, he obtained a qualification in the field of adolescent medicine. In 2014, he certified in the field of pediatric pneumology and phthisiology, and in 2018 in the field of health management and financing. In 2018, he successfully completed the appointment procedure in the field of pediatrics at the Comenius University in Bratislava, and subsequently in 2019 he was appointed by the President of the Slovak Republic as a university professor in the field of pediatrics. Since 2017, he has been the head of the Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology at UN Martin. Since 2020, he has been the president of the SLS Slovak Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology and is also a member of the SLS Slovak Pediatric Society committee. Since 2023, he has been the medical deputy for the departments of internal medicine and SVALZy at the Martin University Hospital. It primarily deals with the issue of rare immune-related diseases, congenital immune disorders, vaccination in special situations or treatment of severe forms of allergic diseases.
