Geospatial data and its acquisition through small unmanned aircraft (drones), helicopters and planes are very popular today. However, since we are talking large volume of data, the processing is not trivial. The aim of the lectures is to introduce a new way of working with such large-scale geo-spatial data so called- big-data (aerial photographs, the results of 3D laser scanning, etc.), in both technical and commercial view. On the technical side there have been designed a system for storing, processing and providing this type of data in real time. In principle, a private cloud geo-spatial system. This repository is used today in the University of Žilina and Košice as a joint project carried out by means of the OP VaV. To ensure data transmission in practice, the provision and use of electronic commerce was created - GeoStore. The contribution will provide information on options for developing opportunistic business in this area for all user groups.
