Oľga Štěpánková
Olga Štěpánková graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in 1972 and she was awarded the CSc. title in the field of mathematical logic in 1981. Since 1988 she has been working at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where she gained the titles of Associate Professor and professor in 1992, 1998 resp. From 2016, she is the head of the department Biomedical Engineering and Assistive Technology of CIIRC. Her research is dedicated to data mining, artificial intelligence and development of assistive technologies - in these fields she participated in a number of Czech and EU projects. She is responsible for the Master Program in Biomedical Engineering and Informatics. As the ČSKI chair she supports effective utilization of information and communication technologies at all levels and objective testing of the necessary knowledge.
