Oliver Moravčík
He is the Rector of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
In the past, he was the main researcher and researcher of more than 30 domestic and international research projects and projects of applied research, projects within the economic activities of the faculty. At the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and also within Slovakia, together with foreign partners, he made available the HORIZON 2020 segment - KIC EIT (Knowledge and Innovation Communities - European Institute of Innovation and Technology). Since 2017, STU (Slovak University of Technology) has been a member of three institutes of this elite European association - Manufacturing, Digital and Raw materials.
A special chapter is his work in the preparation and implementation of projects from structural projects of the European Union.
The focus of his previous pedagogical activities have been and are lectures in the field of automation and applied informatics.
He is the author and co-author of 3 scientific monographs, 1 university textbook, and has published more than 130 scientific and professional publications and articles at home and abroad.
He currently represents the Slovak University of Technology and the Association of Research Universities of the Slovak Republic in bodies focusing on RIS3, the Slovak Recovery and Stability Plan, and other national bodies.
