Pavel Karel graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and also completed postgraduate studies at the prestigious Ecole des ponts ParisTech in France. After working at the Institute of Technical Cybernetics of the Slovak Academy of Sciences as a system specialist, he joined Tatra banka, where he spent a significant part of his career as the director of the IT Department and was a member of its Board of Directors for several years. As a business consultant, he worked for IBM, where he managed many international projects. For the last 10 years, he has provided consulting services at his own company Fairdyne. Thanks to his many years of experience in building, operating and improving the provision of electronic services on a large scale, mainly from the financial sector, and 35 years of IT experience, he became the clear winner of the competition for the position of Director General of the National Agency for Network and Electronic Services. 2020.
