Peter Harvaník
Peter Harvaník studied engineering at the Technical University of Košice (TUKE). As part of his work, he was dedicated to managing the operation of business-critical applications in USSKE, introduced processes and developed methodological guidelines for them during the transformation of the IT division in SPP a.s., mainly in the area of demand management, with an achieved saving of over 70% of IT investment funds over 5 years while providing unchanged the scope of the company's IT services within the holding.
In the area of eGovSK, he participated in the expansion of electronic services for small municipalities in the DCOM cloud, as well as in the project of connecting cities to these innovative electronic services. He contributed to significant savings in the operation of the DEUS organization and started the processes of insourcing IT activities, as well as contractual obligations and the state's positions in them. As an IT consultant, he helped the IT team at the municipality of Bratislava with the introduction of the electronicization of the parking policy in the capital, mainly in relation to the future automation of processes supported by the connection to DCOM data services and other ISVS/state registers.
His domain is cost management in IT services through process optimization/setting and IT controlling with an emphasis on proven industry solutions with value for money.
Since 2021, he has been working at NASES in the position of director of the information systems and IT architecture section.
