JUDr. Peter Kubovič, chairman of the Public Procurement Office, graduated from the Law Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava. He completed his doctorate at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trnava in Trnava. Between 2005 - 2011 and 2013 - 2018, he worked at the Office for Public Procurement. In the period 2012-2013, he was the director of the public procurement department at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic. In the period 2018-2020, he worked as the head of the public procurement department of the City of Trnava. Since August 2020, he has been an employee of the Slovak Electricity Transmission System , a.s. During his practice, he devoted himself to the agenda of public procurement, worked as a lecturer and trainer in the field of public procurement. During his long-term professional career, he was a member of a number of working groups focused on the transposition of European Union legislation, the application of rules in public procurement, a member and chairman of the commission for decision-making in objection proceedings, director of the legal department of the Public Procurement Office.
