Government Hybrid Cloud Concept
Slovak Government Cloud conception from 2014 suggested Private Cloud scheme adoption with the objective to limit security risks. Cloud services matured significantly in terms of security in the meantime and today their security attributes are fully comparable with traditional information systems. The best example is CIA using Amazon cloud services. Therefore, document Strategic Priority Government Cloud approved in March 2017 includes hybridisation of Gov. Cloud as one of key activities for achieving significant efficiency improvement of Gov. Cloud.
Presentation of Hybrid Government Cloud shows typical use cases, basic functions including brokerage within EU, CSP accreditation, CS certification and procurement and operations principles of Hybrid Gov. Cloud.

eGovernment Cloud Strategy within the Framework of European Commission Strategy of EU Cloud Computing Development
In September 2012, the EC published Cloud Computing Development Strategy, in which they emphasised high data security, customer security and reinforcement of EU role in Cloud Computing development. They perceived it as tool for GDP growth in EU countries. The presentation briefly evaluates partial results after one year implementation of the Strategy from the perspective of Digital Europe Cloud Council, whose author is an ITAS member. It offers the assesment of the continuity of the Strategic document for the growth of digital services and infrastructure...(2014-2020) as compiled by MF SR and in EU Strategy for Cloud Computing. This analysis shows that the will of SR to develop all IS VS on the basis of eGovernment Cloud in the period 2014-2020 is very progressive, and, if consistently implemented, the Slovak e Government will reach the top European standards.
