Petr Štourač
Prof. MUDr. Petr Štourač, Ph.D., MBA, FESAIC is the vice-dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, the head of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Brno University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, the head of the Institute of Simulation Medicine at the MU Faculty of Medicine. Prof. Petr Štourač led the project of the Simulation Center of the LF MU (SIMU) from the very beginning. He is a graduate of Charles University Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Kralove (2002). He is the vice-president of the Czech Society of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Medicine ČLS JEP and the Society for Simulations in Medicine. He is the vice-dean for development and studies in the clinical departments of general medicine at the MU Faculty of Medicine. He is the chairman of the Working Group for Simulations in Medicine of the Association of Deans of Medical Faculties of the Slovak Republic. Since 2020, he has been a professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, intensive care medicine and algesiology. He is the chairman of the board of the doctoral study Simulation in Medicine. He is the recipient of numerous publication awards, the MU Rector's Award, the MU Faculty of Arts Dean's Award, the Werner von SIemense Award, and the Aesculap Academy Award. Shapes the form of simulation education in medicine at the national and international level (member of the Utstein group, member of the Simulation Committee ESAIC).

Simulation across the curriculum or what do we want from simulations in the 21st century?
The basic thesis of the suitability of including simulation teaching across medical education will be heard in the presentation. The role of specific methods will be emphasized. Emphasis will also be placed on the task of training lecturers.
