Petra Fridrichová
Petra Fridrichová works as a university teacher at the Faculty of Education, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. Among the research topics she deals with are the issues of increasing the success of the reform of the basic education system in Slovak education, but also the innovation of educational practice through the professional development of teachers. She received her doctoral education at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica. She worked as the director of the State Pedagogical Institute. She participated as a member of the working group in the creation of descriptors of the Slovak Qualifications Framework. She was an analyst at the That Makes Sence project, in which she was responsible for the content and form of education. She also works in the team of the State Pedagogical Institute, where she participates in managing the creation of a new curriculum for basic education and the processes of its implementation in pedagogical practice.

DISCUSSION on digital skills
„According to the EC, 80% of the EU population needs to have at least basic digital skills by the year 2030. Slovakia needs to reach this level as soon as possible and that’s why we’re preparing (in close cooperation with the most important stakeholders) the National strategy for digital skills together with other strategic documents.
