Petra Zappe
Petra Zappe is responsible for coordinating policies to support science, research and innovation in health, with the aim of systematically supporting excellent teams with strong research and innovation potential in biomedicine and health. For more than 6 years, she served at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a senior policy manager in health and innovation, where she managed and coordinated multiple projects to support systemic reforms. Previously, she worked as a consultant for the Ministry of Innovation in Brazil on poverty reduction and socioeconomic development of disadvantaged urban communities. She studied International Business at the University of Economics in Bratislava and International Relations at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague.
