He is the director of innovation at NATO. He participated in the founding of the innovation accelerator DIANA and the NATO Innovation Fund. He also leads the team responsible for NATO strategies in the area of new and disruptive technologies. He practiced international law and served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 16 years.
