Regína Lohajová Behulová
She is the head of the Department of Medical Genetics of the Oncology Institute of St. Elizabeth and the deputy head of the Institute of Genetics and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, SZU. She is also a guarantor of the Department of Laboratory Diagnostics in Medical Genetics and vice president of the Slovak Society of Medical Genetics. She serves as a member of the Senate of the Slovak Chamber of Other Healthcare Workers and is the recipient of the Viliam Izakovič medal for her contribution to the diagnosis of hereditary diseases, thus co-founder of DNA diagnostics in Slovakia. She has been working in the field of Medical Genetics since 1996. Pedagogical worker in undergraduate and postgraduate education of students of natural sciences as well as medicine. Participation in various project studies focused on the diagnosis of hereditary diseases. Rich lecturing activity at professional conferences, workshops, seminars, advisory boards at domestic and foreign level.
