During his time as Minister of Interior of Slovak Republic Robert Kaliňák started some crucial reforms:  “ESO” (a reform of public administration, saving 1 % GDP – 700 mil EUR), reform of security system, disaster management and integration of voluntary fire brigades into Integrated Rescue System, reform of public procurement and introduction of “state e-bay”, reform of retirement system of armed forces saving 200 mil EUR, reform of politics of marginal Roma communities.
