Roman Jantoš
He studied general medicine at the J. E. Purkyňa Military Medical Academy in Hradec Králové and the Medical Faculty of the Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. In the course of the following years, he acquired a specialization in the field of general medicine, then in the field of social medicine and healthcare organization. He completed the Medical Logistics officer course and the Strategic Medical Management course at the Army Medical Department Center and School (USA), the Military Medical Facilities Accreditation course and the Mass Casualty Management course at the Center of Excellence for Military Medicine (HUN), the Senior Staff Officer of the Military Medical Service course and the Medical of planning at the NATO School (DEU).

- from August 1,1998 senior doctor and later chief of the polyclinic of the Military Academy Liptovský Mikuláš

- since October 15, 2020 he is a member of NATO's highest medical body COMEDS (Committee of Chiefs of Medical Services of NATO countries)
